What will happen often with these formats of capture the flag, is that someone gets the flag and just runs away, so whenever someone has the flag they must have their map location turned on.Capture the flag is one of the most popular wide games ever and is great to play on a youth camp in a location with plenty of running space.ġ.

If you have gone down the route of a player starting with the flag or just fighting over it right from the start, then you could again have the winner as the team that gets the flag to a specific location, or you could have the winner as the team that has the flag after a specific length of time. So you have to get the flag and get it back to the start to win. If the flag is placed in a location, then you could say whoever gets there first is the winner, but that is boring, so instead have the winner as the team who get the flag to a specific location (could just be the starting spawn).

Deciding on how the game is won is also optional.

Other options are that one of the players starts with the flag, you could simple throw the flag in the starting spawn point and fight it out from the begininng. The flag could start at a specific location and the players race to get it, if you chose this option then your host will have to place the flag and ping the location.

You have a couple of options at this point.

The flag could be a cape, or a dverger (the light helmet).

One player (or a host if you have one) will have to bring a ‘flag’ into the game.

This stops anyone leaving the game to join their own world to load up on items to bring in.

If a player disconnects, then they cannot rejoin.

This check can also be done by a screen share or stream check of their inventory.

This checks that they haven’t done a server hop, and joined their own game first to get some resources.

If a players takes too long to join the server, then upon arrival all the other players can kill that character.

This ensures that no one is logging in on a character that they have already levelled up the stats on.

Players are issued a random character name to login with.

A newly created previously unused world is created using a random seed.
